Research direction
Start by locating the Properties panel and its “Cue size” checkbox in the MuseScore desktop application, then trace how customizable keyboard commands are defined. The change is complete when the checkbox action can be assigned a shortcut and invoking that shortcut matches the checkbox behavior; verify it through the relevant existing UI or shortcut tests, if present.
