Description

Issue type

UX/Interaction bug (incorrect behaviour)

Description with steps to reproduce

I have been experiencing this issue for years now. Every time I need to open "master palette" is a gamble. Most of the time the palette flashes and closes, other times it causes MS to crash entirely. A few times it works but with a risk of crashing MS while interacting.
I am on Fedora 44 GNOME version (but had experiencing this issue all the way back to fedora 40). Musescore 4.6.5 (but same behaviour all the way back to many versions of MS 4)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a score
  2. Choose "master palette"

I attach a terminal log if it is of any help.

Thanks a lot for your help.
