Your idea
Access backup files directly from the file menu with a displayed list with the option to restore any directly to a new or open score.
Time and date stamp in the file name
Set the periodicity and number of backup files to save from a LIFO rotating list.
Problem to be solved
Current Backup management facilities do not meet the do not in any manner meet the common needs at a composer.
