General Keyboard Shortcuts to work while Focus is on the Braille Window

Your idea

For general shortcuts such as Save, Open, menus, etc to work when focus is on the Braille window. If this could be expanded to use shortcuts to insert items to the score such as staccato, slurs, fingering, etc maybe some of these items that can't currently be input via Braille could be added with keyboard without having to tab back to the score.

Problem to be solved

Currently if you want to save your work, open a new score, or use anything else from the menus or shortcut keys you have to first tab away from the Braille panel. These keyboard commands work from anywhere else in the software and users wonder on first press why they aren't working when on the Braille window. Having to tab away, save and tab back is very inefficient. For commands like Save we would need the focus to return to the same position on the Braille panel, for many others if something new has happened that can't be done in the Braille panel then focus could return to the score after executing, leaving the dialog, etc. Currently there are many items which can't be entered using 6-key entry in Braille, if any of these could be added using shortcuts with focus remaining on the Braille that would be a big step forward in Braille input.
