UI bug (incorrect info or interface appearance)

Description with steps to reproduce
  1. Create/open a score
  2. Go to Home tab
  3. Create/open another score

"Loading new score" modal fails to instantiate.

If the system is slow to load a new score, it can appear as if nothing is happening.

At least 4.4.4 (up until and including current 4.7 nightly)

Yes, this used to work in a previous version of MuseScore 4.x

Only occurs on macOS (not reproducible on Windows)
