Description
Your idea
I saw that there had been a bug with failing to export bends to musicxml, now solved. From what I can see however, the exported bend cannot be subsequently re-imported.
Problem to be solved
in my use case, I am transcribing another musical json format to musicxml in a script, for import and rendering in musescore. And while most of the common symbols are importing correctly, bends don't seem to be.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with a MusicXML file containing a guitar bend, or by exporting a bend and importing the result back into MuseScore. Trace the MusicXML import path for bends and compare the imported notation with the original; done means bends survive re-import and render correctly.
