Description
Your idea
There should be a simpler way to input lyrics if there are multiple voices to which they need to be attached, like so:
Problem to be solved
There doesn’t seem to be a way to create a hyphen between the two circled syllables, because of the voice assignments in the notes. I tried creating it on a different system, in both voice 1 and voice 2 and then copying and pasting it back, but it always pastes in with “ways” sitting over “will” no matter what I do.
Prior art
No response
Additional context
Can be done in Sibelius just by changing the voice assignment of the lyric.

The issue provides no source file, test, or entry point. Reproduce the multi-voice lyric case shown in the issue and compare the requested hyphen behavior with the current result. Done means lyrics can be entered across multiple voices with the syllable hyphen attached and positioned correctly.
