Description

Issue type

Bug, inconsistency, feature request, question... in that order ;-)

Description with steps to reproduce

It apparently is possible to apply a system break to a measure having a system lock already.

But:

  • only via drag'n'drop, not via shortcut or simple/single click, pretty inconsistent
  • this does not work for section breaks or page breaks, which seem to imply/include a system break, there's no way to combine a page- or section break with a system break

These 2 make it look like a bug to me

In which versions of MuseScore Studio is this issue present?

4.5.2 - 4.6.2, but also the current 4.6.3 and master

Regression

Questionable whether a new feature (system locks, as of 4.5) not working properly or inconsistently is a regression or nor

Operating system

Windows 11, but that hardly matters

Additional context

While at it: it might be good to add a default shortcut for section breaks, I'd suggest Ctrl+Alt+Return (and Ctrl+Alt+Enter)
