Description
Your idea
A palette of commonly used emojis that teachers and other users might for various reasons want to add to their music. Include the most frequently used icons that someone might want to add to staff text and allow them to be put in directly without first creating a staff text box. Such as tick, cross, arrows, light bulb, glasses, , ear, hand, lightning bolt, coloured square, coloured circle, happy face, stop sign, etc.
Problem to be solved
As a blind user I can't get the screen reader to identify any symbols in the lists to browse through to add to a text field. So I can't currently add them. But, I think for any teacher being able to quickly add these sorts of things direct from a palette with a single click would be really useful.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the existing staff-text symbol lists and the desktop text-editing UI, then determine how a palette could insert the requested icons directly. Done should include the proposed icon set, direct insertion, and screen-reader-accessible controls.
