Your idea
Allow customizing the format, including positions and visibility, of elements such as page numbers, measure numbers, and system dividers, differently in odd and even pages, especially showing in the outer edge in a symmetric way, to enable readers of a double-side printing to scan the edge quickly without unrolling the copy completely.
