Unable to Add Special Characters to Dynamics

Description with steps to reproduce

Expected (the workflow with normal text elements is described)

1. Add a text element.
2. Begin typing (più, for example)
3. Add the ù with the "Insert special characters" button in properties
4. Clicking the character in the dialog adds it to the text.

Actual:

1. Add a dynamic.
2. Try to add some text to it (più, for example)
3. Add the ù with the "Insert special characters" button in properties
4. It does not work.

Putting a complaint here: In When editing text elements, the add special characters button is immediately available in properties; but when editing dynamics the dynamic must be clicked away from, and then clicked into again before the button appears.

No source files, tests, or entry points are named. First reproduce the issue on Windows 11 with MuseScore Studio 4.5.2, comparing text-element and dynamic editing; done means inserting a special character into a dynamic works and the properties button is available without leaving and re-entering the dynamic.
