Description

Your idea

I suggest adding a new instrument - Song Bells.
You can read information about this instrument here.

Problem to be solved

The introduction of this instrument will allow musicians to get the desired sound (something between a vibraphone, a glockenspiel and a celesta). At the moment, I personally have to use the celesta as a workaround, but putting this instrument in percussion causes the brackets to break. You also have to remove an unnecessary bass staff.

Research direction

Start by reviewing how MuseScore represents existing instruments, especially percussion instruments and staff setup. Compare the requested Song Bells sound and notation behavior with the linked instrument information and existing celesta, vibraphone, and glockenspiel support. Done means Song Bells is available as an instrument without broken brackets or an unnecessary bass staff.
