Description

Your idea

I would like to see more flexibility in scaling chord symbols, especially "sus" and "add"

Problem to be solved

When using the Edwin font, chord symbols with “sus” and “add” are too large for certain tastes and can’t be scaled.

The attached graphic shows various chord symbols at 16 pt. Note the size of the sus and add compared to the ma7; they take up way too much horizontal space.

(Note: The style has the modifier scaling at 0.70 and the modifier vertical offset at -4.00.)

I made a feature request is the forum here:
https://musescore.org/en/node/370821

(I'm using MS version 4.4.3 on Linux Mint Debian Edition)

Prior art

Chords-MS 4 4 3

Additional context

*** Also, can anything be done to adjust the brackets on the first chord? They’re spaced too far apart, I think.

I just searched the issue tracker and a similar request for the jazz font is here:
