Mezzo dynamic (m) no longer working

In MuseScore's new 4.4.3 release, a dynamic has stopped having an effect. Previously, I could input the mezzo (m) dynamic from the "More" section of its palette. The result was a distinct dynamic between mp and mf. I used it a lot, and I had several unfinished pieces using it.

For some reason, this function is gone in the newest update. Now, putting the m in has no effect, and the dynamic of instruments won't change when it's added. I can't imagine why this was removed…

The MuseScore team is great at responding to users, and I really appreciate all their hard work. I could use appreciate some help, or at least an update that reinstates this function!
