Crash or freeze

Description with steps to reproduce

After updating to Version 4.4.2, attempting to play the Aria VST will crash MuseScore where it worked before the update.

When I change sound back to MSBasic it works well. The When I change back to Aria, it still works. If I then save and close MuseScore and reopen it, it will crash when truing to play the Aria sounds.

I can reproduce it with these steps:

  1. Install ARIA player https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037425313-ARIA-Player-Version-1-959-Installer
  2. Open user's score 1 - Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence.zip
  3. Play

For me it doesn't crash only in 4.2.1
