Your idea
A paper size is automatically chosen based upon the number of instruments in the score.
Problem to be solved
No matter the number of instruments selected, Musescore always creates new scores on 8.5 x 11 paper. For large scores, this leads to severe size reduction of the staves, and yet they are still listed in Properties as Scale: 100%.
