Description
Your idea
Allow users to work on a single score simultaneously. This would allow new levels of creativity not seen before.
Problem to be solved
Currently, there is no good free software for collaboration in music. MuseScore implementing this would open new heights for what musicians and composers can accomplish together.
Prior art
Another notation app, Flat, has this feature, however there are other problems with Flat that make this worthless compared to the design of MuseScore. I imagine this working in a similar way to the Google Docs collaboration system.
Additional context
There is a plugin to do this in MuseScore 3, however this is not possible in the much more advanced version MuseScore 4.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by comparing the referenced MuseScore 3 collaboration plugin with MuseScore 4 and reviewing how a Google Docs-style workflow could fit the application. Done would require an agreed design for simultaneous editing, not just a localized change.
