Description
Issue type
General playback bug
Bug description
After opening a MIDI file that contains notes with as little as 80% gateTime (i.e. 20% of the note value is "silence" between consecutive notes), the playback is still legatissimo, including the unfortunate exaggerated portamento effect that bugs many of the MuseSounds instruments.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a MIDI file with notes that have clear separation (e.g. 1/4 notes at MM=60 with at least 20% separation).
- Play it back in MuseScore
- Play back ignores the separation present in the MIDI file and applies inappropriate levels of legatissimo/portamento.
