Description

Issue type

General playback bug

Bug description

After opening a MIDI file that contains notes with as little as 80% gateTime (i.e. 20% of the note value is "silence" between consecutive notes), the playback is still legatissimo, including the unfortunate exaggerated portamento effect that bugs many of the MuseSounds instruments.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Open a MIDI file with notes that have clear separation (e.g. 1/4 notes at MM=60 with at least 20% separation).
  2. Play it back in MuseScore
  3. Play back ignores the separation present in the MIDI file and applies inappropriate levels of legatissimo/portamento.
