Bug description
When attempting to add a less frequently used palette, such as "Brackets," in MuseScore, users may encounter difficulty locating it within the palettes menu. This issue can be particularly challenging for individuals with dyslexia or those who struggle to parse written text efficiently.
Currently, upon searching for the desired palette using the magnifier glass icon and typing "Brackets," the matching "Brackets" palette is displayed in the search results. However, there is no option to directly add the palette from these search results.
To address this usability concern, I suggest implementing a "Add palette" (or "Remove palette," where applicable) option within the three dots menu associated with each palette in the search results. This enhancement would streamline the process of adding palettes identified through the search function, improving user experience and efficiency.
Thank you for considering this suggestion to enhance usability within MuseScore.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Muse Score 4.
- In the Palettes panel, click the Add Palettes button.
- In the list that opens, click on the magnifier glass button, to narrow down results.
- Observe that there is no way to quickly add a palette that was matched by the search.
