Description
Your idea
AFAICS, at the end of a tempo change line playback continues at the new tempo as set by the line.
But it might be useful to allow the user the option to reset the tempo to the score tempo as it was before the start of the tempo line.
Problem to be solved
This would allow the user to not have to continually reset the tempo back to the initial one, This can be tiresome if there is a continuous run of rit. or acc.

Research direction
Start by locating the tempo-change playback behavior in MuseScore and how the score's original tempo is retained before a tempo line. Define the optional reset behavior for tempo-change lines, including continuous ritardando and accelerando passages, and verify that playback returns to the prior score tempo when enabled.
