Description
Your idea
Currently the piano can be soloed but unless you select all of one hand and then mute it there is no easy way to hear one hand at a time only. It would be nice if left and right piano hands could be added in the parts list separately with their own solo buttons.
Problem to be solved
A number of blind users in particular have asked if this is possible so they can hear each hand to help with aural learning of a piece of music. As a piano teacher I'd also love to be able to play students one hand at a time easily and get them to use it as a practice tool at home letting MuseScore play one hand while they practice the other along with it.

Research direction
Start by tracing the existing piano solo behavior and the parts-list UI mentioned in the issue. Confirm the scope with the current playback controls, then verify that left and right piano hands each expose independent solo controls and that playback isolates the selected hand.
