Description
Your idea
right now when creating a new score, it is only possible to add a tempo marking (such as quarter note = 120), but no tempo text. It is only possible to add tempo text from the palette tab after creating the score, but not from the new score tab itself.
My idea is that the user could add custom or standard tempo text, with or without a tempo marking alongside it from the "additional score information" window when creating a new score
Problem to be solved
This will make it more comfortable for users to quickly add tempo text along with the rest of their score's information, as well as make it consistent with other score information in the "additional score information" window (everything else in this window can be changed later from the palettes tab). It makes sense that users could also add tempo text from that window.
Prior art
these are screenshots from Sibelius that has the option to add common tempo texts, as well as typing a custom text yourself.
maybe a similar design in the dropdown of the "tempo" part in the additional score information window could be useful

Research direction
Start with the “additional score information” window and its existing tempo-marking control. Determine how standard or custom tempo text could be added with or without a tempo marking during score creation, while remaining editable later from the palette; confirm the design against the supplied Sibelius examples.
