Description
Your idea
Modulating tempo by a polyrhythm to a beat is currently done with custom symbols which are not easy to find and a manual tempo change but can one day be done in the system like the default metric modulations.
There could be a panel to let a user choose which rhythm to put on each side of the equal sign so there can be polyrhythms on both sides: 4:3 ♪ = 3:5 ♪
Problem to be solved
It can allow tuplets to become a new beat and change the tempo automatically to save time

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the existing default metric-modulation implementation and its user interface, then define how tuplets and polyrhythms should be selected on both sides; done would mean automatic tempo changes for the requested notation.
