Description

Issue type

General playback bug

Bug description

Writing for muted trumpet etc., I'm finding that the note duration is being shortened when the mute effect (from the Text menu) is applied. As if every note has a staccato dot. I can see how this might enhance playback for stringed instruments, but it is an undesired effect when writing for winds.

Steps to reproduce

New score with Trumpet (MS basic)
Add some notes
Palettes > Text > mute vs Palettes > Text > open
Muted notes cut off playback before the note has ended compared to open notes.
