Description
Your idea
Though F10 is the designated shortcut for the mixer, I think using X is an intuitive way to quickly toggle the mixer view. In Logic Pro X, you can use the X key to do so, and I think it would help with quickly accessing and changing sounds when necessary. In addition, the X key isn't currently mapped to any shortcuts, so that may be a good use of it.
Problem to be solved
As stated above, the idea would mostly be for convenience, and to help integrate the mixer better into the score writing process.

Research direction
Start by locating the existing F10 shortcut for opening the Mixer and checking how keyboard shortcuts are registered. Verify whether X is unused, then make X toggle the Mixer without disrupting F10 or other shortcuts; confirm the behavior in the application.
