Research direction

Start by locating MuseScore's existing VST support and reviewing the LV2 plugin specification linked in the issue, with Linux-specific behavior in mind. Done means MuseScore can discover and use LV2 plugins on Linux alongside its existing VST support; the issue names no tests or files, so the implementation scope must be established first.
