Property for (single) barlines to span across the entire system permanently

Your idea

I'm working a lot with selected barlines
which span across the entire system.

It would be amazing to have
a setting within the properties panel
which will make a selected barline
span across the entire system
instantly and permanently.

Problem to be solved

In order to make a single barline span across the entire system,
the barline currently has to be dragged down with control-click.

I see 2 problems with this:

1. It's a bit fiddely, especially with larger scores.
2. If you add or remove an instrument, the setting is lost:
