Description
Describe the bug
Musesounds solo brass (particularly Trombone and Horn in F) plays mezzo forte passages with a "cuivre" effect, the metallic "brassy" sound usually heard when the instrument plays loudly.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open a score with Horn in F and Trombone using Musesounds.
- Add a few notes, preferably with no rests in between.
- Place an "mf" marking on any point of the score, and an "f" on any point of the score.
- Press play
- Hear that even when the measure is marked in mf, and the instruments are playing in mf, the cuivre effect is still heard in such dynamics.
Expected behavior
The cuivre effect should only be heard on loud dynamics and should return to a normal tone when playing on medium loud dynamics.

Platform information
- OS: Windows 11, MU4 nightly
Additional context
The bug is hard to spot; It is only triggered by the circumstances specified, and sometimes it is not triggered at all thus I had it meticulously documented. One thing that's observed is that the bug is not triggered when there are rests between the passage.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in MuseScore MU4 nightly on Windows 11 with Musesounds solo Horn in F and Trombone, using consecutive notes and mf/f markings. Compare playback with and without rests between passages. Done means cuivre is heard only at loud dynamics and returns to a normal tone at mf.
