Description

A Tempo Track where you can draw in tempo changes
could be a straight forward solution for the future.
The x-achse would be the time line of the entire piece.
The y-achse would be the tempo.
DAWs like Cubase and Studio One use this too.
Would come in extremely handy for film scoring...

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. It proposes a tempo track with time on the x-axis and tempo on the y-axis, supporting drawn tempo changes such as ritardando and accelerando; the design and completion criteria need clarification before implementation.
