Description
We currently have 0x55 for DagRAW and 0x0 for the "identity" multihash. These are really the same thing and could use the same codec. Thoughts? This would, unfortunately, have to change slowly over a long time but it still annoys me that we have both.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by reviewing how the multicodec table represents 0x55 for DagRAW and 0x0 for the identity multihash, then determine whether they can share a codec. Done requires an agreed approach for deduplication and its long-term compatibility migration.
