Description

Suggested on CDB: https://content.luanti.org/threads/14415/

Could be very useful, most likely it would work the same as it does in node detectors, perhaps with the max range limited by the tool that is used (at least for node breakers).

Research direction

Start by comparing the linked mesecons detector implementation, especially its range handling, with Pipeworks' wielder and node breaker behavior. Define how configurable range should work for wielders and how the tool-specific maximum applies to node breakers; the issue is done when this behavior is implemented and verified for the relevant tools.
