Description

sorting tubes can be configured to act as one-way tubes, so it makes no sense for one-way tubes to be more expensive, even if by half a mese shard

possible actions (contiguous are mutually exclusive):

  • replace mese crystal with mese shard
  • remove mese crystal entirely
    ----------------------------------
  • increase output to 6
    ----------------------------------
  • add recipe where a stick is added to a normal tube to make it one-way

Research direction

Locate the crafting recipes for one-way tubes and sorting tubes in the Pipeworks mod, then compare their material costs and output. Review the three mutually exclusive options in the issue and confirm the preferred balance with a maintainer before changing anything. Done means one-way tubes are no more expensive than sorting tubes and the affected recipe behavior is verified.
