Description

It would be nice to be able to sort the list of branches by committer date (available since Git v2.19). It could be a parameter or maybe pay attention to the branch sort in .gitconfig (if configured).

Research direction

No file or test is named in the issue. Start by locating the branch-list construction and existing sorting options, then inspect how PyGitUp invokes Git and whether its version assumptions support committer-date sorting. Done means the branch list can be ordered by committer date through an agreed parameter or .gitconfig behavior, with coverage for the chosen interface.
