Description

I have a SFTP server that hosts a ton of files. I need to list and filter by timestamp. Would be great if I could get a stream of files instead of buffering them all.

Research direction

Start by tracing the existing SFTP readdir entry point and how it currently buffers directory results. Determine how a streaming result should expose timestamp filtering and identify the relevant tests or test coverage before changing behavior. Done means large listings can be consumed incrementally without buffering every file.
