Description
Bug Description
Whenever I open Slack's app after it's been minimized with Loop running I get blocky animation artifacts of multiple lines with shadows that fill the space of the app until the app fully opens and the app appears. The blocky shadowy lines do not show the app ui at all until it fully expands. If I exit Loop the issue stops. I haven't found any other apps this happens with.
Affected Scope
User interface
Steps to Reproduce
- Have Loop running.
- Minimize Slack's desktop app.
- Click Slack icon in dock to open the app again.
- Blocky lines with shadows fill the app window space until the app appears.
Reproducibility
Always
Expected vs Actual Behavior
Expect a fluid animation of the Slack app window to expand.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with Loop 1.4.3 on macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 using the listed Slack minimize-and-reopen steps, then compare the development build since it was not tested. Done means Slack expands without blocky shadowed lines or other animation artifacts while Loop is running.
