Description
Requesting ability to handle VR files.
I'm unsure how exactly this would be done, but if I open a .mp4 the ability to send it to open in say SteamVR to be able to be viewed on the Valve Index would be amazing.
Firefox is able to do this, but it seems that requires the page to send it as VR content.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying the SteamVR and Valve Index integration requirements and how Firefox's VR-content behavior differs, then locate the existing .mp4 playback path; done means a defined, tested way to view supported files through SteamVR.
