Reproduction Steps
Hello , have build mpv player according to older instructions found on the net that used to function always well,
with support for vapoursynth.
tried to day on a small sbc,
the mpv player would playback nicely, however i noticed that it is missing the forward/backward tab(status) bar when rewinding/forwarding track;
please help to point to the error in build?
thanks.
Expected Behavior
build should include the status-bar for forward/backward > tracklength.
Actual Behavior
playing back, no status-bar when forwarding/backwarding.
Log File
please show where to find the log, thanks.
I carefully read all instruction and confirm that I did the following:
- I tested and confirmed that the issue exists with the latest release version or newer.
- I provided all required information including system and mpv version.
- I produced the log file with the exact same set of parameters, and conditions used in "Reproduction Steps".
- I produced the log file while the behaviors described in "Actual Behavior" were actively observed.
- I attached the full, untruncated log file.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the missing forward/backward status bar on mpv v0.41.0-271-g9bb5a0b70 with the reported Meson and Devuan arm64 environment, then compare the older build instructions with the current mpv build configuration. The issue names no source file or test and provides no log; done would require identifying the build difference that removes the status bar and documenting or correcting it.
