Description
Expected behavior of the wanted feature
I know about geometry and autofit and there was an issue that asked for my setting at https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/3201 but the user closed it after accepting geometry and autofit as an acceptable solution.
However, I'd like to ask for the actual setting to be added, because for me, it is much easier to change "no" to "yes" in such a setting that actually remembers my last used window size and position instead of a predefined value, especially because it accomplishes more than an pre-defined value does by remembering my window size and position as I change it from time to time.
Can we have such a setting added to mpv? Something along the lines of --rememberwindowsizeposition=yes/no?
Alternative behavior of the wanted feature
No alternatives considered because the setting proposed is simple enough.

Research direction
Start by reviewing mpv's existing geometry and autofit behavior, along with the earlier discussion in issue #3201. Determine where window size and position are currently handled, then verify that a yes/no setting remembers the user's changed size and position across launches.
