Reproduction Steps

I replaced that it happens more often when the window is resized.
but if you don't touch anything, it freezes after a while too.
And i see hls stream.
i try --no-config ,--hwdec=yes ,--profile=fast

process no freeze

Start by reproducing the freeze on Windows with the attached HLS video, using the reported mpv build and resizing the window, then inspect log.txt. Done means identifying the cause of the stuck process and verifying playback remains responsive during resizing and unattended playback.
