Description
Expected behavior of the wanted feature
I think it's kind of weird that when a custom speed is set, the remaining time value is scaled by it, but position isn't. This makes it harder to compute total playback length. I don't think there's even an option to fix this right now.

Research direction
The issue names no file, test, or entry point; start by tracing how custom playback speed affects remaining time and position. Confirm the intended position semantics and add coverage showing that position and total playback length remain consistent at non-default speeds.
