Description
Before requesting a new feature make sure it hasn't been requested yet.
https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/labels/meta%3Afeature-request
Expected behavior of the wanted feature
Option to turn on --track-auto-selection when manually switching the audio track.
It is useful when I would like to watch the video in a language other than the prioritized settings without cycle through the available subtitle tracks.
Alternative behavior of the wanted feature

Research direction
Start by reviewing mpv's handling of manual audio-track changes and the --track-auto-selection option. Done means that enabling the option causes the appropriate subtitle track to be reselected after a manual audio switch, without requiring the user to cycle through subtitle tracks.
