How do I query the subtitle font currently used from mpv under Linux?
Cyrillic texts are rendered in normal printed form at other places like the browser, but in mpv they show up as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_cursive г
Going from fc-match --verbose Sans mpv probably also uses Noto, but this doesn't explain why the cursive variant is chosen.
If my video file is at fault: How do I override <italic> subtitles if I don't like them?
I would be very glad if you could elucidate me!
