Research direction

Start by reproducing playback on Windows with audio-exclusive active, using the issue's reproduction steps and mpv.log as the initial evidence. Compare the reported gradual audio/video drift with mpv's stats and logging during playback. Done means audio and video remain synchronized and the desynchronization is correctly reflected or explained by the relevant diagnostics.
