Description

For example, visit the following URL:
https://web.archive.org/web/20260808232719/https://mpv.io/manual/stable/#files-on-windows:~:text=%25APPDATA%25%2Fmpv%2Fmpv%2Econf

Unless JavaScript is disabled, the webpage will intentionally redirect itself to the live version of the page on mpv.io, breaking the ability to view this as a point-in-time snapshot

Please don't prevent your own site from working on web.archive.org

Research direction

Reproduce the behavior using the web.archive.org URL in the issue with JavaScript enabled and disabled. Trace the website behavior responsible for redirecting archived captures to mpv.io, then verify that the archived snapshot remains viewable on web.archive.org while the live site continues to work.
