Description
Running MacOS Sequoia 15.7
Python 3.13.5
Code Puppy 0.0.170
If ripgrep is not installed through Homebrew, Code Puppy is not able to list any files.
Once I installed ripgrep through Homebrew, Code Puppy started working.

Research direction
Reproduce file listing on macOS without ripgrep installed, then trace the Python entry point responsible for listing files. The fix is complete when Code Puppy can list files without requiring a Homebrew ripgrep installation; add or run the relevant test if the repository provides one.
