Description

Bugmon routinely checks testcases to ensure that they still reproduce. In the event that the testcase no longer reproduces, bugmon will attempt to perform a fix bisection (see 1649479). It would be helpful in these cases, if the bisection succeeds, to NI the assignee or original poster to ensure that:

  • the bisection is correct
  • if it's correct, close the bug

We're currently handling this in bugmon itself but it'd be nice to include all NI activity in autonag.

Research direction

Start by reading the existing autonag handling and the linked bugmon behavior for successful fix bisections. Confirm how NI activity is represented and routed to Bugzilla. Done means a successful bisection triggers NI notifications for the assignee or original poster, allowing the bug to be verified and closed.
