Description
I'm pretty new to this, and it is awesome. But there is one thing that I really wish we could do. That is to have more options to customize the touchscreen controls. Right now you can only use them instead of a controller, but I think it would be great if you could add additional buttons on the screen that you could use with the controller. Unless there is a way to do this already that I haven't figured out yet.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating the Android touchscreen-control implementation and reviewing how it currently handles controller and touch input. Done would require a defined customization design and working support for additional on-screen buttons, but the issue does not specify the available options or expected behavior.
