Description

What is the Moodle feature that needs documenting?

Started testing Moodle 4.5 and came across this error https://github.com/h5p/moodle-mod_hvp/issues/562 and https://github.com/lsuonline/lsuce-block_quickmail/issues/90 which I traced back to https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-73284

but no mention in https://moodledev.io/docs/4.5/devupdate about what to do.

These deprecations haven't been throwing any warnings in out phpunit or behat tests until now, so these fatal exceptions will be the first time plugin developers will encounter these, would be helpful if this was documented in dev update for 4.5

Is this documentation specific to a Moodle version?

Yes

Are you able to provide a patch for this?

No (Default)

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Moodle 4.5 developer update at moodledev.io/docs/4.5/devupdate and the linked MDL-73284 tracker issue. Compare the reported H5P and Quickmail failures, then document the relevant deprecations and expected plugin-developer action. Done means the 4.5 update explains what developers will encounter and how to respond.
