Description
Please add an OSS license... preferably in a LICENSE file and an entry in the gemspec. MIT is widely used, and probably a good fit in this case.
If you choose it, MIT text is here:
https://opensource.org/licenses/MIT
Thanks!

Research direction
Start by inspecting the repository's gemspec and checking whether a LICENSE file already exists. Add the selected OSS license text, preferably MIT as suggested, and add the corresponding license entry to the gemspec; done means both files clearly identify the project's license.
