Description

Once a dependency is specified as optional or provided there isn't an easy way to get it back in to the exec:java class path. Boolean flags to achieve both would be very helpful rather than having to use fragile manual re-addition.

Research direction

Start by locating the exec:java goal's classpath assembly and the existing handling for optional and provided dependencies. Confirm how dependencies are currently filtered, then define and test flags that include each dependency category in the generated classpath without manual re-addition.
